We are currently looking for an Outside Sales Representative, Major Accounts to join the team at our Project Centre in Saint-Leonard, Québec.


The Outside Sales Representative, Major Accounts develops profitable sales and ensures that customers' expectations are consistently met, while maximizing our market share within projects in Québec.


  • Develop customer strategies that meet the Project Centre's sales objectives;
  • Develop profitable incremental sales to new and existing accounts;
  • Coordinate the sales and customer service efforts with the Project Managers to foster excellent customer service, operational efficiency and account profitability;
  • Develop pre-project solutions and work in close collaboration with engineers and vendors until project execution and completion;
  • Learn about and share information with the Project Centre's director and other team members regarding customers, the competition and any new private and public projects relevant to the Project Centre's expertise;
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, vendor representatives and engineering firms;
  • Continuous development of technical knowledge on our various product lines.


  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in the electrical distribution industry is preferable, and at least two (2) years of experience in sales or a combination of relevant professional training and experience
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken French
  • Demonstrated sales ability
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Product knowledge and familiar with the distribution industry
  • Must be customer service driven and results oriented
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
