We are currently looking for an Inside Salesperson to join our team in Sarnia, Ontario.


The Inside Salesperson reports directly to the Business Centre Manager. In this role he will be expected to interact with customers by taking their orders, responding to price requests, providing them with technical information and helping them solve problems. The Inside Salesperson is also involved in the sale of products.


  • Answers incoming calls politely and professionally;
  • Listens attentively to the customers to understand and fulfill customers’ needs;
  • Meets customer expectations with respect to emergency and/or rush shipments;
  • Takes necessary action to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner, and follows-up and verifies commitments are met afterwards;
  • Proactively suggests associated and/or alternate products, and promotes new product offerings;
  • Quickly informs the appropriate person (Business Centre Manager, Outside Salespersons) of customer feedback with regards to price, products, service, etc.;
  • May be asked to negotiate special prices and conditions with customers and/or vendors as per criteria established by his Manager;
  • Continuously improves technical knowledge on product lines and broadens their system knowledge;
  • All other related tasks.


  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of electrical distribution industry experience preferable, or a combination of relevant training and experience;

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
